BEHIND THE BRUSHES

I had a passion for makeup art since a young girl. I wasn't allowed to wear makeup until I was 18 having been brought up by strict Jamaican parents, however being raised and going to Catholic school in White Plains, New York this was challenging. While all my friends were wearing makeup chap-stick... Lol I remember going to school early every morning and rushing to the bathroom before my friends to do my makeup & hair.  It wasn't long until I started to become really good at doing my makeup then my friends  would started asking me to do their makeup! 

Ever since then, and until this very day, every opportunity I have to makeup someone face I have done it.  at 18 I got my very first job as a cosmetic department manager at JC Penny. Through the years I have worked for several major retail cosmetic companies inclucing M.A.C., KIKO Milano, Clarins, Lancome`, Estee Lauder, Clinique, and Iman.

I studied cosmetology at the AVEDA institute South Florida where I became a licensed cosmetologist. My talents have taken me all over the world and I have worked with many amazing talents,numerous designers,photographers, and celebrities however my joy is making every bride feel and like a celebrity. , out their beauty on the biggest day of their life.

 

I love what I do. No two days are ever the same but I wouldn't have it any other way.
